Transcription work is usually either schedule oriented or deadline oriented. With schedule-oriented companies you will commit to work at certain hours on certain days, sometimes week by week and sometimes on an ongoing basis. With deadline-oriented companies you will be assigned jobs as you can accept them and will commit to returning a given job by a specific date and time.
