Barbara Graham, the owner of TranscriptionTips.com, has an extensive history in the transcription business, beginning with the advent of the Wang word processing systems in the 1970s. Following a successful word processing career in the Ryder System Law Department in Miami, Florida, Barbara became system administrator for the Ryder Law Department and then moved to the Miami offices of Weil, Gotshal and Manges. In 1998 she moved to Orange Park, Florida, and became system administrator for the law firm of Martin, Ade, Birchfield and Mickler in Jacksonville. Upon that firm's dissolution at the end of 2000, Barbara started her own business as a freelance transcriptionist.
She spent several years with CyberSecretaries as Typist Supervisor and subsequently expanded her work to include several other companies. During Barbara's time as CyberSecretaries' Typist Supervisor, she was responsible for all evaluation, testing and quality control procedures. Barbaranow works as a
transcriptionist/editor for a growing list of private clients as well
as several major transcription companies.
